ALS TURBINE OIL

Benefits

  • Made from selected synthetic base stocks with selected additives.
  • High viscosity index for minimal viscosity change with temperature.
  • Low foaming characteristics.
  • High thermal conductivity for reduced operating temperature.
  • Reduces input power consumption through reduced friction.
  • Excellent high temperature thermal stability.
  • Maximum protection against mechanical stress.
  • Reduced metal-to-metal wear through better metal wetting.
  • Protects against shear and viscosity breakdown under heavy loads and stress.
  • Eliminates varnish, sludge and carbon deposits.

Recommended Applications

  • Gas turbines used for electric power.
  • Natural gas pipeline transmission.
  • Process operations and co-generation plants.

Neoprene, Viton, Buna-N, Buna-N24, Buna-N19, Epoxy Paint,
Compounded Urethane, Nylon, Teflon, Plastisol, PVC, Acrylic Paint,
Lacquer and most commonly used software materials.

ALS-32T and ALS-46T synthetic gas turbine oils have been formulated to operate in land-based gas turbines under a wide range of temperatures. Synthetic hydrocarbon base stocks and selected additives combine to provide excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics, oxidation stability, wear resistance, and load-carrying ability.

ALS-32 T synthetic gas turbine oils meet the requirements of specifications
approved by all of the major manufacturers of gas turbines and AIP ALS-32Tsynthetic turbine oils is approved by Solar Turbine as conforming to their ES9-224 lube oil specification for Class I ISO 32 lube oils.
  • Low temperature fluidity - Pour Point of -65ºF.
  • High Viscosity Index - less viscosity change with temperature.
  • High temperature stability - demonstrated by FTM 5308 performance test.
  • Low foaming characteristics.
  • Excellent load-carrying ability.
  • Exceptionally good anti-wear as measured by ASTM D2266.
